The purpose of this book is to give you, as a guitarist, a solid foundation in the blues genre. Beginning with a simple open string ‘12 bar’ you will work your way through a series of examples that build upon this in logical steps, helping you to play a typical blues shuffle in the key of A. Towards the end of the book we will also look at a couple of variations to the standard shuffle which will hopefully provide you with a jumping off point for your own embellishments and creations.
